Invest in Women Hub

< Back to Help Start My Business

Did you know that female-led businesses are only 44% of the size of male-led businesses on average? That’s why The Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs (CIFE) has created the Invest in Women Hub – a one-stop-shop to help women achieve their business dreams through guidance and resources on business funding, business information, family support and networking.

Originating from the Treasury and Alison Rose, CEO of NatWest Group, the Hub was set up as a result of the Alison Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship. This review led to the UK government’s ambitious strategy to ‘increase the number of female entrepreneurs by half by 2030, equivalent to nearly 600,000 additional female entrepreneurs.’

The review identified three significant opportunities to help more women succeed as entrepreneurs, and the Hub focus on these prospects to help women prosper.

  1. Increase funding directed towards female entrepreneurs
  2. Provide greater family care support for female entrepreneurs
  3. Make entrepreneurship more accessible for women and increase support locally, through relatable and accessible mentors and networks.

To make the most of these opportunities and succeed as an entrepreneur, visit the Hub now!
